This project is an environmentally friendly home. It consists of Rastra wall structures, radiant heat flooring, recycled timbers, insulated foam panel roof and eco-shakes.

Rastra- is a foundation form made of thastyron with 85% of its volume consisting of recycled postconsumer polystyrene waste. It is filled with concrete creating insulation, soundproofing and fire protection. You can match Rastra with different types of concrete and reinforcement to adapt to any load requirement for your area.

Radiant Floor Heating-is a heating system generated by water running through polyethylene tubing suspended within a concrete floor. It provides a consistent draft-free warmth that is estimated to reduce home energy needs by about 50% if installed correctly.

Recycled Timbers-are timbers from old warehouses and factories that are still deemed safe and structurally sound. They are used as roof and floor timbers.

Insulated Foam Panel Roof-is a roof structure that consists of 10" rigid foam sandwiched between two plywood panels. It is highly energy efficient and structurally sound.

Eco-Shakes-are made of 100% recycled plastic and wood. They have a high resistance to moisture and have a Class A fire rating when installed properly. These shingles are extremely weather resistant and have passed wind tests up to 110 mph. They are easy to install and generally have a 50 year warranty.
